KARA MAJOR

Kara has been teaching PreK for over 14 years.  She is a graduate from Indiana State University with an Elementary Education Degree. Kara and her husband, Jason, have one daughter, Elaina and a Golden Retriever named Bailey. Kara loves spending time with her family and friends and especially loves relaxing in her pool.

This is Shannon’s 3rd year teaching at Fairlawn. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Master’s degree in Education. Shannon and her husband have 3 children who have all attended Fairlawn Preschool and enjoys running, baking, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.

Laura is beginning her third year at Fairlawn. She graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Laura and her husband, Bob, have two daughters, who both attended Fairlawn Preschool, and a Great Pyrenees mix.

Amy received a degree in Special Education from Purdue University. After teaching for several years, she and her husband, Dave, moved to Columbus. They have 2 children, Claire and Evan. Amy enjoys camping, reading, and being with her family and friends.

This is Robyn’s sixth year teaching at Fairlawn Preschool. She and her husband, David, have three children, two of which went to school here. She is excited to watch the children grow and learn throughout the year!

Lucy has been at Fairlawn Preschool for six years. She is also a certified Elementary School teacher. She and her husband, Brian, have 3 children, Brennan, Lydia, and Layla.

Jessica and her husband Sean moved to Columbus in 2010 after living abroad for four years. She began working as a teacher at Fairlawn Preschool in 2013 and took over as director in early 2015. She has two daughters, Brooke who is in 9th grade and Alexandra, a Fairlawn Preschool alum, who is in 5th grade. Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.
